Hi everyone! We’re back at it after a few weeks of rest and we are looking forward to some Ontario concert action in the next few weeks.
On 29 May we’ll be playing a great fund raising event for MCC Canada in New Hamburg, Ontario. This will be a great event, to be held at the Wilmot Rec Complex on 1291 Nafziger Road, in New Hamburg, Ontario. Tickets at nhmrs.com and at Heart ‘n Home Creations, 115A Peel St., New Hamburg and at Mennonite Savings and Credit Unions
$20(adults) $10(children 12 and under)
Show starts at 8 pm and we hope to see you there.
We also have some intimate and incredible House Concerts upcoming – We’ll post the info for these shows in the next week or so as we get the important details ironed out.
On June 20th & 21st we’ll be performing at the ‘Latitudes Storytelling Festival’ at Victoria Park on Roos Island in Kitchener, Ontario. Latitudes is held in conjunction with the K/W Multicultural Fest. Our show is slated for 7:30 pm on the 20th of June at Trinity United Church on Frederick Street. The next day, June 21, from 4:30 to 5:30 we will put on a workshop (exact location TBA).
Plans for recording are spooling up, and House of Doc plans to do the near-impossible: Record Christmas music in the sweltering heat of summer. Stay tuned for updates as well as incriminating photos of Yuletide singers in Santa hats and Speedos.
